GoatCAD collects no data. No accounts, no analytics, no cookies, no telemetry — not on this site, not in the app. There is nothing to opt out of. The site and the app are published by Goat Hill Electronics LLC; the rest of this page is the complete list of network activity either one involves.

This website

goatcad.com is static files. It ships no analytics, sets no cookies, and your browser makes no requests to third parties while you read it — fonts and images are self-hosted.

The site is served by Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Like any host, Cloudflare processes standard request metadata — your IP address, user agent, and the URL you requested — in the course of delivering the site and protecting it from abuse. We don't receive or keep any of it; Cloudflare's handling is described inits privacy policy.

Downloads are hosted on GitHub Releases, so downloading the app sends that request to GitHub, covered byits privacy statement.

The app

GoatCAD runs entirely on your machine. Your projects are files on your disk — nothing is uploaded, synced, or backed up anywhere by us. There is no account, no license check, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no automatic update checks.

The app talks to the network only when you ask it to: downloading a footprint library fetches it from the KiCad project's GitLab, then caches it locally so later use works offline.

If any of this changes — an update checker, for example — this page will say so before the version that does it ships.
